Attorneys

John William Flynn was born in Chicago, Illinois.  He received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University and received his law degree from DePaul University College of Law.  Mr. Flynn has practiced in the Chicago areas since 1968.  Prior to joining Stock, Carlson, Flynn & Bloesein 1996, Mr. Flynn was a partner with Cohn & Flynn for fifteen years and practiced as a sole practitioner for thirteen years.  

Mr. Flynn concentrates his practice in civil litigation, primarily personal injury and family law.  He is also a Chair qualified arbitrator in DuPage County.  Mr. Flynn is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association, where he also belongs to the civil practice, family law, and school law sections.  He is the current Treasurer of the Celtic Bar Association.  

Mr. Flynn is a former police commissioner of Itasca.  In his spare time, Mr. Flynn enjoys golfing, cycling, and motorcycling.
