John P. Stock III was born in Duluth, MN. He received his undergraduate degree from Monmouth College in 1969 and received his law degree in 1975 from DePaul University College of Law.
Mr. Stock concentrates his practice in civil litigation, divorce, family law, and business organizations. He is a trained mediator and arbitrator in DuPage County. Mr. Stock is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. He also is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, where he is a member of the real estate, civil practice, and family law sections. Early in his practice, Mr. Stock was a member and director of the Young Lawyers Section of the Chicago Bar Association.
Mr. Stock is past chair of the Professional. Responsibility Committee and Trial Techniques Committee. He is a member and a director of the Wheaton Lions Club, where he also has served as past president. He also was involved with the Glen Ellyn Jaycees.
